Time Capsule

Welcome to my personal shrine, a place where I store the previous editions of my Online CV: in an increasingly fast-paced world of new technologies, medias and business models, it's a refreshing reminder of how everything around us quickly becomes obsolete.

This 2012 version is posted here and on on Facebook which, in 2008, was still at a very early stage whilst Twitter was only on the radar of its early adopters...  and try to imagine a world without the iPad or Android!

• As I was busy designing the 2008 site, I managed to dig out a personal relic, my very own 1998 website... Back in those days, I was living in Paris and looking for a new and exciting job and I had the idea to put together a Home Page (!) to increase my chances...
• Amazingly enough, it actually worked and I found (online!) a job offer in London, for a very small company in an industry I knew nothing about (Interactive TV). Apparently, my website had helped, so I decided to post it again, 10 years later. So here I go again and 4 years on, it's both nice and scary to take note of how things have changed in less than 4 years!
• And I can't resist quoting the blurb I came up with in 2008 to present my "Time Capsule":
• I like this concept of "Time Capsule" and I'm glad I have a chance to go back in time and remember who I was back then. It's both a very humbling experience and a strong incentive to achieve in the next 10 years as much (or hopefully more) as I have since 1998".
