Games - My Top 10 : Railroad Tycoon, SimCity, Silent Service

It's, of course, impossible to determine the 10 best games ever created. First of all because of personal preferences: some gamers will only play strategy games while others will stick to sports, etc. Also, new games benefit from new technologies and comparing them to old games is unfair.
This is why my personal Top 10, although purely personal and subjective, only takes into account the amount of time I spent playing them!
Needless to say, I had to eliminate old favorites of mine (President Elect, Flight Simulator, Battle Isle, 688 Attack Sub and the like) and none of the traditional stuff I play (Monopoly, Scrabble, Bridge, Chess, Tarots, etc.) can be listed. And now, pass the envelope please, let's go for this exclusive Top 10 :

No 10 : Railroad Tycoon A 1991 hit by Microprose. How would it feel to build your own railway company, design your trains, operate them smoothly and be ruined or bought by competition? Addicts beware : Railroad Tycoon II hits the retail shelves this winter...

No 9 : SimCity
Together with its sequel, SimCity 2000, the ultimate city simulator, by Maxis. SimCity offered the first game with no firm victory conditions : designing and growing your city was like the art of bonsaï, about precision and patience... Talking about patience, SimCity 3000 is coming, get ready!

No 8 : Silent Service II Another Microprose hit, a top notch WWII submarine simulator. As a captain, I've spent a considerable amount of time feeding the fish instead of sinking japanese warships.
