I have to admit the previous page was all dark and bloody. It's now time for conquest!

The winners for ranks 2, 3 and 4 have in common a tragic ability to contract time : days will pass like minutes, nights will pass without sleep... The best way to describe this addictive sensation is the "One more turn before I stop" syndrom (Sid Meier). Need I say more ?

No 4 : Command & Conquer Together with its sequel Red Alert and numerous add-ons, C&C has created a whole genre : the Real Time Strategy. Let's worship Westwood Studios for giving the World a harmless way to settle conflicts and for giving players so many occasions to test the quality of their marriages and relationships...

No 3 : Age of Empires
OK, it's Microsoft,OK, the Artificial Intelligence stinks and moving your units is a nightmare. Bottom line: It's one of the most beautiful games ever created and it's really fun to create your empire and to blast your opponents over a network! "The Rise of Rome" add-on is now on the shelves and "Age of Kings" is scheduled for 1999!

No 2 : Civilization & Civ II Way back in 1991, I made a terrible mistake: I bought the original Civ from Microprose... Thanks to Sid Meier for hundreds of hours of wasted time. Can't wait for him to release his upcoming "Alpha Centauri"! Also coming soon : Civilization : Call to Power.
